How member levels work

Typical programmes award points per unit staked, sometimes at different rates per game type. Points accumulate into levels; levels unlock perks; some programmes recalculate levels periodically and can move you down if activity falls. The earning rate per game type is the number that matters most, because it decides how much rebate each unit of stake returns.

A loyalty return against the house edge

Worked example with our own numbers: suppose a programme returns the equivalent of 0.5% of stakes. On 20,000 units staked on Zombie Blasters (RTP 96.75%), the expected loss is 650 units and the rebate 100 units — the net expected cost is still 550. On Piggy Brick Bonanza (94.03%) the expected loss is about 1,194 units against the same 100-unit rebate. A loyalty return lowers the cost of play you would do anyway; it can never make extra play profitable while the rebate rate is below the house edge.

Tier systems are designed to encourage volume, and level-drop rules can create pressure to "maintain status". That pressure is a warning sign, not a reason to play. If you notice yourself staking to keep a tier, set a firm deposit limit and reconsider whether the programme is serving you.
